KKIT (Indonesian Catholic Community in Tokyo) is a Catholic community base for Indonesians who live in Tokyo and surrounding areas. Pioneered by the late Father Downey in 1996, KKIT grew and developed along with the growth of the community.
Celebration of Holy Eucharist mass is held regularly in Kojimachi Catholic Church - St. Ignatius, Yotsuya every Sunday and Meguro Catholic Church - St. Anselm, Meguro every Saturday. Other event such as eat-and-greet, retreats, and volunteer activities are also held to strengthen brotherhood and kinship.
